Here today, gone to-Maui
I don't have much time to post but I wanted to ensure the world that I am home safe from Hawaii. I may post more later, on the situations that the Tiersma family "got themselves into." As a matter of fact, I will post more later along with some pictures.
But for now, I'll write just a bit:
I was surprised at the number of conch shells and their importance in Hawaiian events. After our church service started with the "blowing of the conch shell", I had a sudden urge to run to the beach and dance around a camp fire, followed by tossing a rock down a hill on a fat kid named Piggy. Of course, I didn't do this because the hand holding/circle of love/singing songs prohibited me from this.
Oh, Luke, check aapl today...

You missed one heck of a party at the high school basketball games tonight.
p.s. - i hate the ipod
Ya, Im glad you came to the HS bball game tonight, bummer you missed the partay afterwards there were tons of hot junior high and high school girls.
Man, going back to CCHS last night brought back some good memories. Remember all of those Friday nights when we would go out back before the games started and share a bottle of Jim Beam I had hidden in my letterman's jacket? And then we'd go smoke under the bleachers and casually hit on girls during the game. After that we'd go to Marty's house for a huge party with all the elements of a good party - loud music, no parents, drinks in red cups, and countless empty bedrooms. Remember that one time you were dancing on the table and you hit your head on teh chandelier? Man, good times. Then I took you out front to the swings and you threw up on me. Man, that was hot.
