Goldie Locks

He thought he was done with Dordt College. Ironically, he has hair again.

BTW, I think I saw Bill at a Dordt dance in a cute, little, pink skirt. Aaron reports on this breaking story.

I'ma get get get it Poppin'

No, Fat Joe and Nelly are not in the library with me. But let me tell you about another couple I "caught" behind the book shevles.

It all began when I was walking to the back corner of the library to find a science textbook for a lesson plan. As I was meandering through the books, I saw a couple hiding behind the books doing something odd. At that point I should have turned and ran to the social studies section but instead I got curious. As I got closer I saw that the boyfriend was sitting on a chair and the girlfriend was standing up with her hands on his face. Too weird I thought, what could she be doing? Well if the title of this blog doesn't give it away - she was get get get it poppin'. Yep, little Miss Pops-a-lot couldn't handle the zit on her boyfriend's forehead and she decided to get rid of it next to the science section.

Isn't it ironic? Don't you think?

Surprises should be good things not bad things

Many of you already know that Mr. Faber surprised Aaron by coming to Iowa this past weekend. What many of you don't know is that I knew Mr. Faber was coming out so I asked my mom to send some contact solution with him (it's really expensive at the local Wal-Mart). I made the request for contact solution via email and this is the humorous response that I got from my mom:

(Important background info: My mom will be a chaperone for the Dordt visit weekend at the end of September when my brother, Jonathan Cooper, Mark Veldkamp, Reuben Faber... come to visit.)

"I'll try to send some with Mr. F. They love to surprise him don't they. What happened to us? We don't do surprises. Must be my fault. I like to know what's going on. I should have surprised you that I was coming with the kids. Maybe I'll surprise you and not really come. Or maybe I'll tell you that I'm not coming and come anyway. Maybe I'll surprise you by coming at a different time or not showing up with the kids and coming a day later so that I can surprise you that I didn't come but that I really did come. If I really planned it right I think I could surprise you. Maybe I'll surprise you by not sending the solution with Mr. F. Would that be a surprise? No I think surprises should be good things not bad things."

Thanks Mom, for brightening up my cloudy day!
