Well, Bill, as hard as it is to believe, that "kid" in the background is yours truly. Yes, I showed signs of affection for Johnny at a very early age. I never was one for monkey bars, kickball, or all the other things that typical 3rd grade boys were interested in. No, I was the silent observer, carefully studying my surroundings in preparation for the big eigth grade transformation. Phooey to all those other kids, with their nice teeth and good eyesight. My day would come.
